On 2006 the company was established and the contract for supply of the equipment and supervision of erection was signed with the well-known Italian company SMS Meer S.p.A . was signed on march 2007.
-Steel production started on October 2009 .
-The mill is sited in the location of Industrial City of Hassia ( Homs ) , Syria.
-The plant consists primarily of the rolling mill with bar quenching system, water treatment
plant,maintenance workshop ,quality assurance laboratory, and electrical sub-station.
-The plant occupies an area of 100000 sq.m .
- With the latest production technology and equipment, the plant has an annual production of 465,000 tons of re-bars.
-The total workforce is approximately 300 with the exception of the office staff.
- The mill runs a 3 shift system .

- ICSR product is supported by an effective and reliable delivery and after sales service .
-The location enables to supply a sizeable portion of the requirements of the region, as well as Syria’s own domestic need .
